Capturing Memories with Shelby's Senior Portraits at the Ford Estate | Capture A Moment Photography

July 2, 2023
Capturing memories is one of the best things one can do, especially during milestone moments like graduating high school. Like Shelby from L'Anse Creuse High School, Class of 2023, who wanted to celebrate her senior year by getting her portraits taken at the prestigious Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores. What made Shelby's senior portrait sessions even more unique and personalized was her classic 1957 Ford Fairlaine, which we used along with the estate's beautiful landscape and architecture to make her senior portraits even more memorable.
The Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate has a lot to offer when it comes to scenic backdrops for photography sessions. From the beautiful lakeshore, sweeping views of Lake St. Clair, the azalea garden, and the beautiful mansion itself, there are an endless array of options to make portraits unique. We were looking to really just incorporate the car as this was not Shelby's first session.  The mansion itself's grand entrance, was a great backdrop. Shelby's comfort and confidence shone through, and the shot where she was behind the wheel of her car was a perfect way to capture her personality.

Shelby's senior portrait session at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate was a memorable time creating beautiful portraits marking the end of a significant chapter in her life. It was a beautiful unfolding of moments as Shelby's beauty met with the beauty of this historic property. Shelby's enthusiasm combined with the elegance of her classic car and the beautiful scenery of the estate, created some beautiful, cherished memories that she will be able to revisit whenever she sees her senior portraits. This incredible experience is why portrait photography is so fulfilling to us, and we are so grateful to have been able to celebrate it with Shelby.
