What time is it? Summertime! And you know what that means, don’t you? It’s also time to book your high school senior photo session.
For us, senior portraits are about more than just the studio experience for yearbook photos. Yes, we’ll include that—but graduation is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and it deserves some pomp and circumstance. We love highlighting the individuality of each of the graduating high school students we work with. One of our favorite ways to do that is with props that evoke memories of current interests.
Evan (LCHS Class of 2022) has been involved with L’Anse Creuse’s lacrosse team as well as the marching and concert band throughout his high school career, so we made sure to include portraits that reflect those interests. These personal details not only make your photos unique, but it also means that they will be truly meaningful for years to come.
Picking out a location is another biggie when it comes to creating senior photos that are uniquely you. (We’re here with suggestions, by the way, if you need some help! Check out a few of our most popular location recommendations on our FAQs page.) We want to shoot somewhere that’s meaningful to you—whether that’s somewhere you’ve made memories (like your home or school) or just somewhere you think has the right vibe for you (like the downtown streets or a scenic park.)
George George Park (where we did Evan’s senior photos) is one of the most popular spots on our list. With its winding paths, wooded areas, and bridge across the river, it provides a great backdrop no matter what the season.
Congrats to Evan on his graduation—and on these photos to remember it by! We’d love to capture your high school senior portraits too. Our schedule is filling up fast, so book now and let’s help you create meaningful graduation photos that will last a lifetime.
