Have we mentioned that we love working with high school seniors? Seriously, teens are the best! And it’s even more fun to do photos with them when we already know each other. We’ve known Doyle and his family for years and have done family photos for them in the past. It was great to see Doyle again for a photo session of his own and we loved creating these graduation photos with him.
We started out at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit. Doyle likes to come here for concerts, and his mom told me she and her husband also frequented it when they were dating. So, a little family history as well as a fun spot for pictures! Love it when we can use places that are meaningful to the person we’re photographing! We hit a few other places downtown too, including the Gucci storefront (because, as you can see, this kid’s got style!) and the Z Lot. And if it seems weird to you to take graduation photos at a parking garage, then we’ll just have to tell you to head over to the Z and take a look at all the great street art there!
Congratulations, Doyle, on your upcoming graduation! So good to see you again, and excited to see what this next chapter of life holds.
