Cieplak Newborn Session

This is baby Ryker! The world welcomed this perfect little gift on May 26th, 2018. New mom Ashley and her husband were the first to greet their daughter when she entered the world as Ashley needed an emergency c-section. The rest of her family finally got to meet her later that day. It was a huge surprise to these new parents when they found out the baby was a girl, because they had thought she would be a boy! 

As with all Newborn sessions, we have everything you might need for your session.  We have tons of buckets, blankets, wraps, headbands, props, etc. You name it, we might just have it.  We also encourage all of our new parents to bring any items of meaning to the session to incorporate.  We want these images to melt your heart for years to come.  This mom had a ton of touching props that she wanted to share with her baby girl such as her own wedding dress to lay her on as well as some Harry Potter themed items. (A family FULL of Harry Potter fans!)  She rounded out the personal props with some wooden blocks that spelled out her sweet name.  The photo session was a harmonious combination of items we had on hand and items they brought with them just for the session. :) Love it when a plan comes together!

As many may know, babies have their own schedule and as much as we think we can control the situation, they often have other plans. These new parents were a little concerned about the little ones demeanor during their first session, but were quickly relieved when they rescheduled on a day that worked better. They were pleased with the flexibility of being able to reschedule. You can never predict how a baby will be feeling!  A newborn moment only comes once in their lifetime and every so often, we just have to try again another day when her Auntie was available to help snuggle her up!  

Some great advice Ashley had for other moms looking to do newborn photograph was that, "You cannot control everything or anything when it comes to your newborn. It is what it is, remain calm, and bring another adult besides momma."  As two mother's of 3, we totally agree.  Come to the session with a flexible mind and the rest will fall in place.  If not, we always a back up plan!
