Welcome to the world baby EJ! When they found out they were pregnant, this little guy's proud parents Eli and Karoline could barely believe it. They, like all new parents we talk to, were completely starstruck when they first saw his face. EJ was born on May 3 and weighed in at a healthy 7lb 7oz and was 21in long.
Mom and Dad came armed with props for this session. We love when families bring in special items to customize their experience just a bit more. They brought along same Tampa Bay Lightning hockey gear and dad's white lab coat as well as his stethoscope. Tampa Bay Lightning is the hockey team mom and dad both root for, while dad's coat and stethoscope are an important part of their lives and journey together. They also thought to bring along number blocks to mark his 1 week birthday. This one was great as they are a Baby's First Year Package, so the blocks come along for each session.
We asked these new parents if they had any session concerns. Mom admitted that they were a little concerned about finding the right outfits as well as having EJ cooperate, but states that the pictures turned out great! Some great advice these parents had, "feed the newborn so that they are sleepy. This way, they will cooperate better!" Nervous at first to give their baby to the hands of strangers, these parents quickly adjusted saying, "We were so relaxed and trusting you both with our son ."
