This week we were lucky enough to have the Girl Scouts come and visit us at the studio to earn their photography badge. It was an awesome experience, one we hadn’t necessarily planned on but were more than geeked to be able to help them out. The troop leader gave us a call Thursday morning and after a brief conversation, we knew that we would be happy to help them out on Friday night.
The group received a brief tour of our beautiful studio and even had a chance to watch a quick commercial that we had created last summer to promote our business. They also learned the difference between the two lighting options we offer as well as a tour of our prop closets and a good look at all the back drops we offer for each individualized session. They also asked about our equipment and the what each piece is used for, depending on the circumstance. They enjoyed watching a slideshow on our TV of the images that we have captured over the last year and even had a chance to watch Jen edit a few images as I explained what editing a session meant.
It was a great experience for us and hopefully a memorable experience for the Girl Scout troop.
