Nathan - L'Anse Creuse High School - Class of 2018

October 26, 2017

Nathan Smith is a senior at L'Anse Creuse High School where he is a member of the Marching Band, Wind Symphony and Swim Team.  Nathan is a leader in the band and is known as an all-around great guy.  We have known Nathan's family for years so it was great fun to have them join us at the photo session downtown at Belle Isle.

We kicked the session off at the Belle Isle Casino where we utilized the brickwork and arches to frame our photos.  We then headed to the Casino Way Bridge which is the historic bridge with ornate cast iron guard rails and plaques.  It is a beautiful place to shoot the water in addition to the gorgeous red color of the bridge.  Nathan did a clothing change from his suit to a more casual look which we shot using some of the greenhouses and rustic buildings as background.  We then hit the Belle Isle Conservatory and the majestic  James Scott Memorial Fountain.  By then, the sun was setting and we had a stunning backdrop along the Detroit River with the Renaissance Center towers as a backdrop.  You couldn't have asked for a better way to end the night.  What a great shoot.

Thanks for letting Capture A Moment Photography be a part of your senior year Nathan.
