Another fantastic high school senior photo session! Blake is graduating later this year from L’Anse Creuse High School and currently plays football and baseball there, so we knew we wanted to use the athletic fields to show off his sports prowess. Part of what makes our sessions so popular for seniors is that we like to focus on what makes them unique. During a senior session, we love highlighting their interests, visiting their favorite places, and incorporating meaningful objects or backgrounds. Yes, we’ll do more traditional “headshot-style” portraits for the senior yearbook, but a lot of times the real fun happens outside the studio as we capture images that are totally personalized.
After some time on the athletic fields we moved to downtown Mount Clemens and used the old train depot as a backdrop. (The depot is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. It just happens to be where a young Thomas Edison learned telegraphy, and it also makes such a cool spot for photos.)
We wrapped up Blake’s senior photo session in Harrison Township along Lake St. Clair. Another beautiful backdrop with a completely different vibe. We love adding some variety to our shoots and can definitely accommodate multiple locations, outfit changes, etc. After all, people are multifaceted, and different looks and locales can highlight different parts of your personality and interests. And we’re all about highlighting YOU!
Super excited for this milestone in Blake’s life, and we wish him all the best in the coming year!
